I am a Development and Feminist Economist with over 15 years of experience in public policy. My expertise spans sustainable livelihoods, the role of social policy in climate change adaptation, digital transitions, industrial and innovation policy, and feminist and gender perspectives.
I currently serve as a Senior Policy Analyst at the knowledge transfer arm of the Institute for Manufacturing, University of Cambridge. In this role, I have collaborated with numerous national and subnational governments, as well as international organisations. My collaborations include working with various UK and Mexican government agencies, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
I bring this experience and my global network to the Just Transform project, where I am co-leading a review of the international and national discourses that shape policies related to the digital and green transitions and their interconnections. This includes reviewing policy documents and interviewing representatives from nine European and international organisations: the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU OSHA), the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound), the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (Cedefop), the European Commission, the European Parliament, the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and the World Economic Forum (WEF).
